Complete SD22 720 minus trans. Parting out cheap.
Hi there,
I have a nice running SD22 in a reasonable body up in the Seattle area.
Complete, runs good, but has cracked the transmission bellhousing. The Engine is a good runner, it leaks oil around the crankcase breather tube, which I was just about to clean up & fix.
All other components on this truck work well & I would love to sell them to anyone who can put them to use. I'm not looking to turn a big profit, just let me know what something's worth to you & we can probably work something out.
These trucks are just far too unique to just take to the scrapyard.
I don't expect to find a replacement bellhousing for this economically, but I am posting as well to purchase one if there are any that can be gotten cheaply in my area. If I succeed in getting a new tranny, then this truck will be off the market & I'll let y'all know.
Thanks.

Just a last gasp of hope that someone is interested here. I love this engine. It runs really well. If anyone up in the Northwest is interested in it, please let me know.
I'd hate to scrap it, & all I'd ask for it is scrap price.
You can see it/hear it run. I'd help you pull it. I don't have the space to keep it around, but I can't bear to scrap this motor.
Barring anyone being able to supply me with a front retainer/maybe a new bellhousing for the tranny, I can't see getting this truck back on the road.
Please let me know if you'd like to save this motor from an unnecessary demise.
170k miles, more or less....

Primer,
A few years ago it would have been snapped up in a minute on here.
Seems that there is not as much interest anymore and not certain why.
I thought that there were a few members in the PNW but not that certain that they are still driving their SD's.
Did not want you to feel that you were being ignored.
If it were me, I would yank the SD and scrap the rest
Make sure it wont freeze or get water into it and keep it. ( wrap some plastic around it or a tarp or something )
Someone will eventually will take it off your hands.
I have the SD25 so not interested myself.
Try posting something at the marinas in the area.
There were lots of CN433's used in sailboats etc and one of those guys may want it.
They will have the balancer etc. already. It's the same engine.
Don't know that I would start "parting it out" though. Fuel pump, head, starter, etc. Take it all !
