Right now, there are no good bargains on eBay for the 720 FSMs.

However, there are both an '81 and '83 720 FSM on eBay right now, in eBay Stores, for around $36 ea. Beware that the 1981 FSM (for both 720 and Maxima) does NOT contain the diesel information; for 1981 there were issued diesel Supplement manuals to cover the diesel specifics.

Other than some rather minor differences, the '82 FSM is nearly identical to the '81 FSM + Supplement, and the '82 FSM is much easier to come by.

I have a set of FSMs for both the 810/Maxima and 720, in a range of several years. If you have GOT to have one right now and don't want to pay $36 from one of the eBay Stores vendors, I'd sell you one of mine (and I'd just buy another one off eBay in a week or two). $25 for 1982, $30 for 1981, shipped USPS Media rate. I have to get more for the '81 because it can be difficult to find the '81 Diesel Supplement.

However, if you are reasonably patient, you can buy an '82 FSM off eBay for under $15. Use this canned search to find one, it searches for several years and drops out the aftermarket manuals. If you can wait a week or two, you can save the bux.

The '81 Diesel Supplement is in near-new condition. The main FSM is in very good condition inside, 1" tear on cover at spine, owner's name penned at top right of the cover (outside). Page edges are greasy but pages themselves are very good.

I'll cover shipping via USPS Media rate. If you want Priority rate, add $3.

I made a second trip downtown and got it mailed USPS Media at 4:50. The clerk said you'd see it Monday.

On the BD-resistant lines: the viton hose I used was difficult to work with, but has a proven track record with BD. Next one I do, I'm going with the Gates product. It's got to be easier to work with, and can't be any more expensive than the M-Carr-sourced viton hose.
