As of Firefox 70, images served from an ftp server will not longer be displayed. Instead, the browser will prompt to download or use the OS' image viewer.

This sucks, because I have served a lot of content on this site via ftp. I guess, someday, I'll have to migrate that info to the httpd instead, but that's kind of . . . unconfrontable right now. A lot of work.

The venerable OS/2 (eCommstation) ftp server ate its HDD around six weeks ago. Today, I finally migrated ftpd to the "new" server, which is Ubuntu. I am now officially no longer an OS/2 shop, after having a OS/2-based boxes running continuously since 1995. Time marches on.

Done. It was ~56 posts to update, which I did more-or-less manually in under three hours.
