I get about four to seven bogus signups per week, and they always post a website in their profile. Once in a while they also post a reply to an existing topic, usually saying something like "Cool" or "Really?". Then you read the reply and see their website link in their sig.
I just delete them as I see them, usually once a day. The newer software version will let me tighten up the "captcha" verification to a stricter level, but the sure-fire fix would be to disallow website listings in a Profile until someone has posted ten msgs or something, but this could lead to worse problems.
For now, I just delete them manually.
