1981 NISSAN MAXIMA DIESEL INTAKE MANIFOLD

Up for sale is a used Datsun/Nissan MAXIMA diesel intake manifold!!! With some minor modification, this will work on any Datsun/Nissan L6 (240z 2.4L, 260Z 2.6L, 280Z & ZX 2.8L or 3.1L stroker) series engine w/ EFI. Racer preffered manifold due to long intake runners, meaning there is more torque available with the right set-up.

This auction is for the 2-piece INTAKE MANIFOLD from a 1983 Maxima Diesel. This is in great shape with no visible cracks or breaks. It would be great for your TURBO project or replacement. It has been sand blasted & looks great. It is being sold as-is.

I aslo have the LD28 Crank available. Let me know if you are interested in that.

Pretty sure OEM surplus has at least one LD28 intake manifold. Their listing doesn't mention the application, but 14003-0700 seems right for the LD28 according to FAST. Oh, after closer scrutiny, it is just the lower half.

i see the egr tube was cut off.. did anybody ever have any success removing it by loosening the flange fitting on there?

The big EGR feed tube nut comes off splendidly . . . on the LD28, anyway. I use a 16" Crescent wrench. No need to cut it.

Oh, I was using the 20 inch channel locks- didnt work good, bad leverage. So I concluded that that nut will never loosen

I do not know if the gasser version comes off as easily.
