Ok so I searched rod bearings and just plain bearings on this forum and on google for the LD28. I cannot find what Im looking for. Basically I want to know what bearings everyone has bought to rebuild their LD28. I went around and got a few prices but being that I havent torn my engine down yet I havent gone full out yet. I checked local parts stores and came up with quite a few sets of $30 bearings. Sealed Power, Clevite Beck/Arnley, and Hi Teck.

I think that all and all I would go with Clevite brand. Suggestions?

Im pulling the head tomorrow. Hopefull I can figure out what the different notches are when I get the head gasket.

The notches can be seen with the head gasket installed. Check your FSM for location (and a picture).

I've never talked to anyone who has had to rebuild their LD28, nor had to replace the rod or main brgs, so I'm of no help there.
