WANTED: Shop manual for LD20T-II

Buy it, sell it, negotiate, haggle, drag it out from under the workbench or behind the garage and make it someone else's problem!

WANTED: Shop manual for LD20T-II

#1

Post by wbrproductions »

Hello,

Newbie here, very excited to find this forum.

I've got an LD20T-II hanging from my garage rafters right now, and will be attempting to jam this plus its tranny (or the original tranny, depending on what fits) into my 81 Toyota pickup. I bought the one on ebay that some of you probably saw (from L.A.)... I'm new to nissan diesels but not to engine pulls or diesels in general. This will be my first gas > diesel swap however.

Anyone got access to or wanna sell their shop manual for this engine? These seem very hard to find, having scoured the web already.

Thanks for your help. I see there's quite a few members in Seattle, so I'll be listening for your rigs on the road.

Welcome. Please update you Profile (click on "Profile" at the top of any page) and add your Location, so we don't have to guess -- this will save lots of Qs later.

I think you'll have to procure your manual from overseas: Australia or NZ are the best bets, as there were a lot of the LD20II-Ts sold there, but none here in North America.
Regards,
Al S.

Done, thanks much. I have been in contact with various manual vendors in AUS, so far no luck. I'll keep reaching out and see what I can find.
