Hi there all,
Can anyone tell me firstly if a TD23 head will bolt onto an SD23 block?
Secondly is there anything to be gained from this? I have an 86 Navara with an SD23 and it's pretty slow so wondering if the TD head will make any difference at all.
Cheers.

not the same even if it bolted on.
the valve are organised asa crossflow and dont reverse the order at the middle of the engine like a sd23.
I think a td 23 would be slow as well.have a look at axle ratio, the code is on the id plate.some jap sold utes have very slow ratio to crawl around the city.any thing lower than 4.11 is slow and has it an overdrive.
