maxima trailer hitch

Buy it, sell it, negotiate, haggle, drag it out from under the workbench or behind the garage and make it someone else's problem!

That looks to be a good one, and it fits both Sedans & Wagons.

1,000-lb. Gross Towing Weight (GTW), 100-lb. Tongue Weight
tow bar for a basic 6X4 box trailer here in OZ would be 900-1250 KG and around 80Kg tounge load.basic hitches are rated at this limit.910 would be around 900-1100KG as this is equal to body wieght.

1250+we need trailer brakes-boat trailer basic caravan.

question is--Is this tow bar very light or just a different method of measure?I just looked at another seller they had a listing.Image

What does it bolt to do you suppose? The trunk/floor pan? Seems like it would have to ride flush against the bottom of the bumper to avoid losing whats already minimal exit-angle. Or maybe I'm just influenced by the zero clearance on my wagon with it's flattened springs... <g>
