This is the whole-vehicle wiring diagram for 1982 Maxima with the Diesel engine, from the FSM. In 1982, it's in color and each wire can be traced end-to-end. In 1983, it's in B&W and wires disappear into harnesses and can't be traced.

This is the fold-out diagram from the back of the FSM. It is approximately 16" long.

Al, thanks for this post. I was just at a wrecking yard today looking at the LD28 Maxima and realized the wiring will be the same for our LD20T-II project. Your post saved me from having to scrounge a wiring diagram from one of the auction sites.
