how do i get more fuel out of my kikki pump?

i just got a datsun with an sd22 and ill be fitting a turbo in the next couple days so ill need some more fuel to go with it how do i get more fuel out of the pump?

ok i figured it out but how much boost is a safe number to run?
im not doing anything with it yet. ill get it on a dyno jan 15th to see what it will do now then ill keep puting it on to see what kind of gain there is with each mod.

Not knowiing how many miles on the engine or it's condition etc etc I would start conservative with 5 - 7 lbs and see if it will handle it. Too much may just cause a lot of blow by, heat, smoke, oil pan failure and other drama etc.
I would put an EGT guage on it as well and keep an eye on that.

I believe, depending on the year, that is a 3 main bearing engine as well so might want to consider that too

its an 82 the odometer says 201k but it runs great starts good in the cold utah weather no smoke, well a little black haze if i really rag on it. ill have have drive pressure, egt, boost, and intake temp guages. how do i find out if its a 3 main

I believe most of, if not all of the SD22's were 3 main bearing engines. I did not mean to imply that these engines could not take turbo charging

ha ha i go to that thread to look at the picture every time i get on the computer since i got my truck. ill start off slow but if i cant end up with enough power to deive it on the freeway ill probly end up with an sd33 in it. i really like the look of a mini truck with a nice clean flat bed and paint lowered just a little bit so im going to keep this truck and keep it a diesel just not sure if it will be an sd22. well see
