Truck won"t shut off ?

SD diesels were widely available in the US in the 1981-86 Datsun/Nissan 720 pickups, and in Canada through '87 in the D21 pickup.

That is what I did, just put a "T" there on the block and connected an oil gauge to it.
Wonderful! Next time I go to town (100 km away) I will get one and finish off the project....ie get off my bike and back in my truck!.

I would suggest that you take the fitting that goes into the block with you, it is a unique thread slope, hard to find it, it's a real pain actually.
This is how I did mine with the 720 console gauge cluster(electric type).

My other truck used a mechanical gauge and the hose was carefully routed to keep it away from heat and such.
I know the voices are not real,
but they have some really good ideas.

You need a photo hosting account to post photos, it is free.
I wish it was just as easy as that, but you need to use the IMG tag above also, sometimes it takes me a couple tries before I succeed in posting a photo though.
