fuel injectors

Buy it, sell it, negotiate, haggle, drag it out from under the workbench or behind the garage and make it someone else's problem!

fuel injectors

Anybody have a set of spare diesel fuel injectors either good or rebuildable
MY car seems to be loosing power and running a little rough.
Since it's got 109000 on it and I'm assuming they are original equipment, they are probably weak and need redone. I'd rather have another set to put in or have rebuilt, minimizing downtime for me since it's my only set of wheels right now.
Don't know if it makes any difference but I've got an 82 sedan.

109K seems a bit early to have injector problems. Does it still roll "coal"? If it does, that means the fuel filter is not clogged. Push one the pump on top of the fuel filter, like twenty times, after it has been heated up. Do this with the engine off. You have just made sure no air has been sucked in through a fuel line. Try some diesel injector cleaner. Try giving it a good "rolling coal" run. I've had Maxi diesel's for 20 yrs and never had much trouble out of them.

Changed the fuel filter again and alls well.
I really didn't think it was the filter.
I put a new one in about 4 months ago.
Does this mean I should look into getting my
fuel from another place..
