1982 Datsun, 720 2wd Diesel pickup truck.
A little gem of a truck, in great shape for ANY age. They are called a true work horse, and they get over 30 MPG in the CITY. Has a canopy and bedliner, and really shows it has been a pampered truck.

Want to know what old farts mechanics do in their spare time? They take a perfectly nice truck and start taking it apart and replacing EVERYTHING. This now has a full service, with all new filters, fuel and air. A new CLUTCH assembly, and clean the fuel system and reseal the injectors. After its all done, they get bored because they cant find anything else to spend money on, and the truck is now for sale. The brakes have been checked, the tires like new, front end tight, bearings packed.

Imagine a world where every one drives a thrifty vehicle. Oil companies wouldnt post high profits, we wouldnt care about the middle east, and we all know that diesel owners rarely contribute to a mechanic's new boat payments, because they require so little maintainence.

So dont stuff yourself into a volkswagen diesel rabbit pickup caddy, when you can get a comfortable truck that has nice seats and loads of room in the bed.

All the writing wore me out, I am gonna take a nap.

ps.. it does have a crack in the cornering lense, and the windshield has three pretty good sized bulls-eyes! the cassette player only eats tapes on the few occasions that the radio is working....... so much for perfect.
Thanks for looking
Byron

I emailed the seller about that.

He replied that it was a stock seat that had been professionally recovered and rebuilt. Over $400. There were palces on the original which had one inch of foam, now it has much more etc. etc.

It looks nice, and Gawd knows that the OEM seat needed some help.

Only way I'd fork over that kind of money would be AFTER a really thorough inspection, personally. It's "too" clean.

A RARE FIND,,,,,Great fuel economy, and nissan's reputation for long life and durability are only a few of the great things that come with this truck.

1982 Datsun long bed diesel powered pickup, with 146k miles, body in above average garaged kept shape, interior is like new, paint sparkles with its blue metalic. The tires are like new, the clutch was totally replaced with all new parts, the injectors resealed, all filters and fluids changed, radiator flushed with new thermostat, all less then a thousand miles ago. Just renewed the tabs, its ready to travel. 5 speed standard transmission, power brakes, and manual steering. Amazing how inexpensive the parts are for this truck, and how readily available they are.

The bed has been covered since new with a bed liner, and it has a canopy with sliding glass windows. The radio is a cd player with removeable face and remote control, its pretty civilized for a diesel pickup. Why stuff yourself in a vw diesel caddy, when you can ride in a truck with leg room and comfortable seating.

So many reasons to own a diesel, the fuel economy, the longevity, the low maintainence costs will make your favorite mechanic cry over the fact you won't be paying his boat payments anymore. Think of a world that has no reason to rely on foriegn oil.

Give me a call and lets make arrangments for you to come visit in port angeles, I am sure it will be worth your trip! 360-809-3118
