'87 Nissan D21 diesel engine mounts

SD diesels were widely available in the US in the 1981-86 Datsun/Nissan 720 pickups, and in Canada through '87 in the D21 pickup.

Regarding the motor mount issue...don't bother phoning the dealer for the proper ones as nissan has stoped making them. i searched everywhere to get the right ones. someone has already changed the ones you have to these round ones, these were not factory.

Sorry but none of the ones in the earlier pic's are the right ones for the truck. i suggest you got to the local auto wrecker and find a mazda b2200 and rob them out of there. then you only have one hole to drill out and they are in abundance. the original ones had a gelly in them to reduce vibration on cold startup and were experimental to say the least.

the last time i checked if the factory still made the ones for the 87 they were ... something like ... $160 each ... so they would still not get my money

Assuming the hole spacing, stud location, and height are the same, is there some other reason a mount from a 720 would not substitute?

Really not a good idea to drill new holes in any frame.

you don't have to drill the frame, just the area that the mount rides on, the pedals are welded on the front axle, all you do is go from 13mm to 15mm and you are done........presto in go the new mounts. The 720's are completly different in size, height ,and apperance in the d21. I have one good mount somewhere in the garage, i'll try and get a pic up, of the oem. I have tried the 720's trust me they are alot easier to find!
