Auction 170131521291, ends Jul-22-07 18:00:18 PDT
This is a large lot of new old stock headgaskets for vintage cars and trucks. All are 4 cylinder. They are very high quality Fel-Pro brand and are still in the original wrappers with all labels etc still on them. I will describe the best I can. 3 are V-W 1.5 Deisel 1976-1980. 3 are Datsun 1981 - 1986 Diesel Truck. 6 are Triumph 2.0 1975-1982 1998cc. All these are in great shape and have the Autozone price labels still on them which say 26--49 dollars each. A large box full.

If the bidding doesn't go above $20, I will bid on them to stash. But I expect somebody will pay three times that easily.

Eight hours to go, no bids, so I put in a bid of $21. If anybody else wants this, just bid a penny above that.

Hey Al
I see you won the auction for the head gaskets.
I would be interested in the gasket for the 1.5 v-w engine when you get them, no hurry I need to get my ld28 going first
I bought a time n tach off e-bay so I won't need to borrow yours.

I'll make you a heck of a deal on that VW head gasket. It's going to be a while though, because the Seller does not do PayPal.

What did you have to give for the T-n-T? Just curious.

Al: It's going to be interesting to see if those three cylinder head gaskets are designed identical.

That's not a bad price, $220 for a T-n-T.

I have them in hand:

(2) Fel-Pro 8734 B, 1.5mm thick, 4 notches
(1) Fel-Pro 8735 B, 1.6mm thick, 5 notches

One of them has an old price tag of $26.94 ! Yes, they're old, but all still in shrink wrap. What are they worth to you? I do not want them ;)

Al S.

Hi Al
I have two other projects I'm working on right now so when there done or at least one of them is done I can get he vw in the garage and see which head gasket would work best for my application So I guess when I know which one I need if you still have it we can work out a price.
If this works thanks Al

Rockauto.com lists both part Nos. for $35 ea. I propose all three for $30 total plus shipping. I don't want to stock any of them here -- the chances of me needing to pull a head on a VW 1.5l diesel are pretty low.
