The MT257x has no readout, nor advance/retard. It's just a pickup and HV output translation device. If you connect a high-zoot timing light to it, then the combination of the two has all the features of . . . the combination of the two.

So if your timing light does digital readout of advance/retard based on the light's ability to delay or anticipate the trigger signal, then the combo can do that.

All I need is another piezo clamp for my Kent/Moore ... as mine cracked (who knows why) making it unreliable. :(
