Napa carries some seals as Fel-Pro, most of them are Victor but there are a small amount that are Fel-Pro gaskets, mostly thermostat gaskets and stuff.
Yeah, the head gasket and the valve cover gasket are coming from CSK auto (checkers, schuck's, Kragen line of stores).
Also I noticed that the clock is off, for the forum posting. Its 3 hours slow.

Thanks about the system clock.
There is a bug in the port of php to OS/2, one which can't deal correctly with time zones. Therefore, to run phpBB and have it display the correct time on everybody's computer, I have to run the server eight hours in the future. You have no idea how much this FUBARs things on this end. The scheduler reconfig is only the tip of it.
Anyway, it should be OK now.

"There is a bug in the port of php to OS/2"
OS/2 is a computer operating system. One which is "dead" but which for various reasons I insist on using for production servers.
php is a recursive acronym = PHP Hypertext Preprocessor. You can think of it as a programming language.
The PHP (program) interpreter has been "ported" (re-compiled and sometimes a bit re-written) to run under the OS/2 operating system.
It has a bug.
"Therefore, to run phpBB . . . "
phpBB being the website software that we are using to display these forums.
" . . . I have to run the server eight hours in the future."
The server's clock is set eight hours fast: to GMT rather than GMT-8, which is my actual TZ.
"You have no idea how much this FUBARs things on this end. The scheduler reconfig is only the tip of it."
FUBAR you should Google.
The scheduler is just that: an automated process manager. Several things have to be done every so often, and the scheduler manages launching various housekeeping programs. The scheduler gets confused because it see everybody else on the network is eight hours behind, so to speak.

forgot the A- being nocturnal has its downsides
hey, anybody good with the delivery confirmation #'s? I want to know what service this belongs to - 01038555749802861172
If you find out you can track along too!
Forgot to update- Ive been scouring the area for a fan assy. None to be found- found one in a JY but it was cracked in the same places, guess time got to it before I did. Im going to just switch it over to a GM style clutch fan using a handful of adapters and spacers. There is one on ebay now (just checked), but I already got this american style one coming my way, and I have a 17 inch clutch fan style assy laying in my garage new.
All I need is a 1/2 inch wide .801" to 5/8 arbor spacer/adapter and itll fit right in there

Installed the new fan with new gm-style clutch, man its loud and it gets so many stares after you pass 4k rpm, I LOVE IT! cools great too, cooled great even without the shroud.
Only thing that seems to nag at me is it seems to be on all the time, could the clutch be a reverse rotation clutch? its a 4 seasons 36990 thermal clutch. If a reverse clutch ran in a standard rotation would it be locked up all the time like it is now?
isnt 4 seasons made by hayden? I checked their online catalog and the #'s stopped at 3200.

Hayden farmed out clutch manufacturing to Four Seasons. The low slippage problem you have now is why I failed TWO brand new 4 Seasons parts and had a chat with a bone headed Customer Service man in 4 Season's TX office ... to no avail. This bad experience with them is what prompted me to ... leave the darned clutch out ALTOGETHER. No Fan At All. Worked fine until temperatures passed 90 degrees in LA traffic.
But then ... I have a clean radiator.

Grrrrreeeeattt
With the higher viscosity fluid in the fan, would it make the fan spin faster than 4k rpm? my fans max rpm is 4k and if I revved it high I dont want see or hear any fan blades flying.
Oh great news, I finally heard the fan clutch off- its off at temps below 120 F so I guess itll be ok if im knee deep in snow. Ill leave the clutch until winter comes and I wont need a fan

NO fan mated to a viscous clutch is intended to run higher than 2k rpm for extended periods. Fractures like the one you already experienced result. Don't ask me to explain that too.

The fan has viscous fluid inside, but it is not the viscosity of the fluid that determines the rpm of the fan clutch in comparison to engine speed. When you finally get around to replacing it, you will find a thermostat spring on the front side of the fan clutch that changes some vanes inside.
A lot of times the subject you need info on has already been covered such as in the Peddle or Procure it section... Wanted: New/Used Radiator Tue Feb 21, 2006 4:00 pm TheDieseliminator.
This person cracked the head on their car fooling around with a problem until enough people could give advice, yada yada. I sold him a head and fan clutch.
Great to hear your problem is solved.

Im going to take apart a fan clutch tommorow or the next day, see how they work.
I will never make peace with this issue unless I learn how it works, its a thing of mine.
The clutch seems to run "normall" when temps are around 70ish outside, engages after waiting at lights and disengages after a bout of movement.
