Removal of air box and egr dramatic improvement

I removed the complete air box and installed a high flow intake pluged out egr. also last year i did the intake cleaning and that also improved performance. Check out you tube Maxima diesel.

Amazing dramatic improvement.

Must of gained at least 25hp.

Sounds good. But I think I read the crankcase vent was the place to stop the crud - w/out the oil from the crankcase, the egr doesn't bother things much. Somebody put in a trap in the vent line and found it made a difference. Nice to leave the egr connected if it doesn't hurt anything - good karma and all that.
