Hahaha! It's one of those mechanic-in-a-can additives people use to keep worn-out cars going. It's supposed to help seal up worn rings. Like an oil system equivalent of the block sealers for blown head gaskets!

Oh apparently it's called "rislone ring seal."

Never used it, but probably gimmicky.

They sell ring sets for the LD28 cheaply on ebay.

a mate stopped by today,chucked the battery out of my truck in it and she fired up pretty much right away...

he says it sounds like a sticky ring too :oops:

probably cos its sat for quite a while....

probably sit for alot longer unless someone buys it..
need the space its taking up.
might have to ring a wrecker on monday to see if they want to buy it...
to good to wreck though..

It was run over-fuelled, and turbo'd. I'd put money on a deformed ring land on a piston. A compression test would confirm it, but that's my educated guess.
