Injection pump question

Hello, I have a question. I have an LD28 with an injection pump that is leaking. I found a used injection pump from a maxima, but it is different than mine. Mine is the one from a forklift and doesnt have the cold start device and the stuff on top. I am wondering if I can use a maxima IP and just cap off the cold start device and whatever other mechanisms that are on top of the pump. The two look much different but both will bolt up I believe. Not sure how to post photos but here is a link to the style pump I have. It is outrageously expensive I know. Gordon.

If yours is working fine (other than the leak), why not just reseal it? Where is it leaking from? How do you know the used IP is any better?

Some of the peripherals would be important to me; they control the load advance, etc.

thanks. I may do that but I thought this might be easier. Do you think it will work w/o the CSD and what not?
