looking for rocker arms

Buy it, sell it, negotiate, haggle, drag it out from under the workbench or behind the garage and make it someone else's problem!

looking for rocker arms

#1

Post by Dave S »

Hello all-

My 82 KC has 289k on it, and the rocker arms, at least three of them anyway, are SOOO worn, that an accurate lash adjustment is a bit tricky.

Before I shell out $16 each from Nismo in Fife, WA, I thought I'd ask the group if any spares were available.

Soooo, if you've got a few extras, kindly let me know.

Thanks in advance,
Dave

Peter has the Vashon '82 truck, which has a destroyed engine (thrown rod). It likely has some available rockers. I'll email you Peter's phone number -- he is at sea right now, but will be back in town by Sunday. He does not have a computer, so phone is the only way to contact him.
Regards,
Al S.
