This is a very clean low mileage Nissan SD33T 3.3L Turbo diesel engine from a 1980 IH Scout II Terra pick up. The previous owner replaced this SD33T with a gasoline engine because he wanted more power. It was a very good smooth running engine with approx 94,000 original miles before he pulled it. My plan was then install this engine in to an old Series Land Rover, but the project has been long cancelled (please see my other auction for the 4 speed Land Rover transmission). What you see attached to the engine is included with the sale. The turbo is good, includes starter (not shown). I also have the water pump to it, but misplaced it somewhere. If I find it before the auction ends, I will include it with the sale. This engine also has an upgraded spin style fuel filter base for easy filter changes. The flywheel has been resurfaced. This engine is ready to be installed back in to your Scout II, or any other vehicle for repower.
Many people have asked if this engine is turbocharged. Yes, it came factory turbocharged from Nissan in 1980 model year Scouts. It has a AiResearch Turbocharger. If you have any more questions, please feel free to email me. Thanks!

If this engine needs to be shipped, I can build an enclosed wooden crate and have it delievered to any freight company of your choice in PDX for $95.00. Buyer can also come pick up in person if needed. The engine paint is all original. All of the head bolts or any other bolts do not have any signs of being removed in the past which means the engine has never been apart. Engine history is unknown. I did test drive the engine before it was pulled out a few years ago and it ran smooth and quiet. It came out of a very clean (no rust) 1980 Terra. Engine has been stored in a heated dry garage since it was removed. I do have a brand new (still in the box) factory Nissan spin on OIL filter base kit that I planned on installing on to this engine. This spin on oil filter kit is not included with the sale of the engine, but the high bidder has the option of purchasing it. If you have any more questions, please feel free to ask.
