Buy it, sell it, negotiate, haggle, drag it out from under the workbench or behind the garage and make it someone else's problem!

This little truck has the Datsun/Nissan SD22 diesel with a manual 5 speed for optimal mpg (30+ and even 40 mpg). Truck comes with A/C, but it was disabled by the previous owner. The engine fuel lines have been updated with new fuel lines that can support 100% biodiesel for even more fueling options.

This truck has 223K miles which is most all Highway and runs good. However the engine does smoke (white+blue) on startup for about a minute. Tires have about 5k-10k miles of tread remaining.

The body condition is average to above average with no rust through holes or major dents or body repairs. But some patch painting has been done to keep the rust at bay. I also have orignal matching paint for this truck too.

Interior is in average condition - though it could use seat covers due to tears to blue vinyl seats.

Also included are 2 winter studded snow tires.

Asking $2000. Contact Jess @ 425-398-8091.

His price sees steep for a smoker that needs tires and probably a transmission.

Yeah. If we believe all the info on these early Nissan 5 speeds, they seem to have problems attaining long and happy life. Apparently a couple of the bearings are undersized, and when they fail, the gears are allowed to thrash around more than they ought to.

I'm probably being overly pessimistic about that truck's trans. If it shifts good and doesn't whine or chatter badly its probably fine. I have seen these trucks with 300k miles on 'em, and it could have had the original trans. Abuse and lack of maintenance will certainly exacerbate the small bearing issue. Perhaps the high miles folks changed the fluid every couple of years and didn't hammer the thing like it was unbreakable.

I probably shouldn't knock the guy for being honest in his ad.
