G'day all. Danjo here. Was rapt to find this site! 720s aren't that common in Melbourne ,Australia these days- especially 4x4s, so i finally have found some people i can ask tech questions.
Well this is the Spruce Moose. I havn't had her long but I've already taken her into the bush and tested her capabilities. I drive her daily loaded with tools for my landscape gardening business. i havn't altered her much ,but since wearing a kangaroo recently i have fitted a roo bar(bull bar) and have put some mud tyres on. below is the 265hemi chrysler cl regal my dad and i bought and my shitty VH holden commodore with a sick v6 202.

If you ever have the opportunity, I would dearly love to have some undercarriage pictures of the SD and 4WD bits. While some folks over here have adapted the SD to our 4WD 720s, they were never offered here in that configuration. In particular, I'd like to see the SD's oil pan, as that has to be custom-made here to make it work in the 4WD here.
Your 720 looks really nice. That blue color is the most common 1982 color here in the States.
Very nice! My only complaint would be the short bed. I wonder if they offered it with 4dr and long bed on a longer chassis ever? At any length you should be very happy, if they sold that here I'd be looking for one.
Cheers, mate. Yeah the tray is a little short, but I use a 6x4 ft trailer by day for work when i need to.
at about 5 mts long, with the bull bar and tow bar- it is long enough! a longer tray would make the whole thing rediculously large! i struggle to park sometimes as it is!

any suggestions as to how i can improve performance? she runs great, i just would like a little more.
i want one. i have recently been thinking about extending the king cab on mine and fitting it with another set of doors. i didn't know they came like that from the factory
