Speaking only of the current test, 2 qts of oil were replaced.
The oil was BLACK ... way beyond belief. Yet the soot levels were well within spec so I'm left to think the color is partly do to oxydation.
Now ... my EGR valve has been deactivated on purpose which likely is responsible for the low soot levels found in the oil sample.
