1981 Maxima Sedan Diesel Parts
I am parting out what's left of my MAX. Front end, engine, transmission, dash, both front doors, dash and tail lights left. Also electric motors and regulators from rear doors. Engine quit running, but still turns freely.

In case anybody was concerned by this, I have met and done business with Road Orphan. He is legitimate. Not that anybody said he wasn't, but I just thought I'd speak up in case anyone had concerns.asavage wrote:Sedan or Wagon?

With that said, I wonder if the front bumper and filler strip above it would be the same on all the Gen 1 Maximas? My Texas car could use those parts.

Although we'll have to wait for the definitive response from Al and his master parts catalog I believe that they are all the same.goglio704 wrote:With that said, I wonder if the front bumper and filler strip above it would be the same on all the Gen 1 Maximas?

Hey Matt,
Thanks for the endorsement.
I still haven't pulled the engine yet, the guy who was supposed to come by and get it failed to appear.
I still plan to save those P.S. lines/hoses for you, when I get it out.
This spring or my wife shoots me..... :>).
Send me you number, My new email is @ comcast.net

The upper valance (the metal filler piece below the grille) is the same all years.goglio704 wrote:I wonder if the front bumper and filler strip above it would be the same on all the Gen 1 Maximas?
SIGHT SHIELD - FRONT, 62080-W2400, $62
The black rubber/plastic part is one part No. up to 12/81, another for 01/82-on, with the later number superseding the earlier.
FASCIA - BUMPER, FRONT, 62050-W2400, $185
FASCIA - BUMPER, FRONT, 62050-W3200, $185 (Part No. translated to -W3225)
Looking over the thirty (!) part Nos. that comprise the front bumper, there are six that have superseded Nos., but all would seem to interchange as a complete unit, yes.
