1982 Datsun / Nissan Diesel powered 720 King Cab Pickup Truck

info:

* The engine is the Famed Nissan SD-22 4cyl Diesel
* 5-speed, 70mph on highway, 30+ mpg!
* Truck is very rusty.
* Bed has rusted through in spots, tailgate still working great!
* The heater, Starter, Glow System, Alternator, Lights, Brakes, Clutch, Transmission, all work great!
* Smokes when cold, and under hard acceleration.

Nissan imported only a few years of these trucks with the famous SD22 4cyl Diesel Engine featuring a very awesome Bosch licensed "Diesel Kiki" inline injection pump.

some work has been done:
o New Injectors! ($240)
o New fuel filter.
o New Battery.
o New Clutch Master & Slave Cylinders, New Hydraulic lines.
o Good spare tire and 4 good tires mounted on truck.

Motor alone is worth the asking. Trans is good, body has life left in it.

1982 Datsun / Nissan Diesel powered 720 King Cab Pickup Truck

Info:

* The engine is the Famed Nissan SD-22 4cyl Diesel
* 5-speed, top @ 70mph+ 25-30 mpg
* Truck Cab is very rusty, has some through rust, and some dents
* All windows, doors, locks are working
* Bed has rusted through in spots, tailgate still working great
* The Heater, Starter, Glow Plug System, Alternator, Lights, Wipers, Brakes, Clutch, Transmission, all work great!
* Truck has 110v plug in block heater installed, works great for cold mornings
* Truck runs and drives good, but smokes and lacks power due to the following easy to fix issues:
o over fueling issue caused by missing nylon bushings on DPC fuel flow control linkage. Easy fix, if you can find nylon bushings?!
o oil consumption issue caused by worn valve stem seals. 8 seals are needed at a cost of less than $20, and about 2 hours to put them in.
I would be glad to help you do the work too.
Work that has been done:
o New Injectors! ($240)

o New fuel filters
o New Biodiesel Resistant fuel lines
o New battery
o New Clutch Master & Slave Cylinders, New Hydraulic lines.
o New brake pads
o Recently aligned front end

Motor alone is worth the asking. 400+ PSI on all 4 cylinders. Trans is good, body has some life left in it.
Engine needs valve stem seals replaced valves adjusted and other minor adjustments, currently truck is good for around town or short trips only.
truck is running on b100!
