I think perhaps the countdown timer would probably be best as the switch for the room is located in a pretty well lit area and the laundry room is very dark at the end of a 8-9 ft hallway. ( basement furnace room). I think just pushing the 10min or even the 5 min button would suffice in most cases.
Certainly more stuff available than I thought.
