IIRC, it's "perfect". I'll look at it harder tomorrow for you. You want it? Gotta buy the engine with it! AHAHAHAHAHAHA!
I can't really drive it around if I sell that off, where I can still move it if I pull the A/C compressor for Steve. I'd really like to sell the bulk of it in one piece, if you see what I mean. Right now, it's mobile.

I understand the idea of keeping it complete, but if that changes, I asked for it first.

Matt, did you ever find one? Mark says that a '82 LD28 plenum hose I supplied him for the "Autoworks Sedan" . . .

. . . . will not fit the '83. So an '83 plenum hose is needed.

I have one hose (maybe more). Not sure what year. Probably 82. Mom's DD is the only true 83 I have. I'll look into it. They are different in terms of the vacuum line supports molded into the hose, but I never noticed anything that would make them totally non interchangeable. I'll compare the two in the next few days, check what I have, and report back. Did Mark indicate the specific problem?

Hmmm, that is not a lot to go on, but good to know cause I could overlook that pretty easy. There would almost have to be something different about the throttle on the air filter housing for there to be length difference. If I can't supply the 83 hose, I might be able to supply the parts to make the 82 hose fit. We'll see...

Yep, the 83 hose is longer. Yep, the difference is in the throttle for the EGR. Nope, I don't have an 83 hose, but I do have an 82 airbox with EGR throttle. In fact, I have 2. FWIW, good electrical tape will hold up for a pretty good while. My gasser conversion car is still taped. The engine is an 82, but the airbox and hose are 83. So, with this new news about intake hoses, I need one too - eventually.
