Well, yes & no. It's not a different taper, but it is a different TPI. In practise, you can get away with 1/8 NPT for the similar BSP.after oil wrote: its a british pipe thread. has a different taper then NPT
Glad you got your current problem resolved.
http://www.BuyNissanParts.com has this hose for $27.73 wholesale! (MSRP $37.73).
They are getting $15.62 for the #14670G7004 oil return hose (low pressure return line).
Today I ran across and bought some hose that relates to this thread and to the bio-diesel fuel and diesel fuel line issues. I found three stock sizes of fluoropolymer hose on the shelf at PepBoys store. It has a thin flouropolymer liner, special braided reinforcement layer, good to 100 psi (500 psi burst), all with Hypalon (epichlorohydrin) outer covers good to -30 F and +300 F. It came in 18" lengths in a plastic display pack, $4.49 to 6.49 a box depending on the diameter. They had:
Dayco part #80078, 1/4" (6.4 mm) ID
Dayco part #80079, 5/16", 7.9 mm ID.
Dayco part #80080 (or PD2060, or Life Line #301111, old stock with several ID numbers on the box)., 3/8", 10 mm ID.
This stuff should work on the both Vacuum pump oil lines and the fuel pump, fuel tank, and fuel injector lines. It should even work with pure Bio-Diesel.
Also, a few months ago, I found out O'Reiley's sells high pressure fuel injector hose like this stuff in bulk (thin flouropolymer liner, braided reinforced middle section, with fuel resistant cover ) but they get something like 5 dollars a foot for their stuff, IIRC. This is much better stuff than pure Viton for fuel hose or the vac pump oil hose.

IIRC I ordered these hose(s) from them at the time I posted that, and after several days was informed they were no longer available. I do know I ended up reusing my old pressure supply hose, and then custom bent a piece of stainless steel tubing (3/8"??) for the odd curve and used two straight short pieces of transmission fluid hose, and 4 hose clamps for the low pressure return oil hose on the vacuum pump.Zoltan wrote:Great! Any experience with these guys?
