My little 82 maxi sedan with the new 5 spd is still running Great
Daily driver love the little car
Any way I have a contact who said he has a 2.8l nissan diesel imported from Europe with only 35,000 miles on it. But doesn't know much about it. He was told it came out of a " parol" He said it was like a little suv over there
Does any one know about that engine, will it fit into my 82 sedan,
If it goes bad in the future?

Nissan Patrols often have the RD28 diesel. I doubt they are a bolt in replacement for the LD28, but I really don't know. I wouldn't worry too much about the Maxima outliving its LD28. The reverse is far more likely.
