New LD28 engine, $1646

Buy it, sell it, negotiate, haggle, drag it out from under the workbench or behind the garage and make it someone else's problem!

New LD28 engine, $1646

Not that I believe it for a minute, but the part number for a new LD28 with flex plate for AT is 10100-w4977.

BTW, that's not a long block, that's an engine with alternator, belts, IP, water pump, manifolds, valve cover, and fan. No PS pump though.

Well, maybe it doesn't come with IP, can't tell from the drawing.

A 1983 Cyllinder Head (with prechambers, but without valve cover) is 11041-V5780, $937. Still available?

No valves though. Can't find the valves, they aren't on the illustration of the heads. Valve seats, valve guides, but no valves. Go figure.

Oh, they're 20 pages ahead, with the camshaft.

How 'bout a L4N71B, brand-new? NLA for the 1983, but for some reason they list one for the LD28 for 6-83-on, 31020-X8715, for a whopping $3,098.
Regards,
Al S.

It's less than you'd pay for a new F150 trans (E4OD) from Ford
