83 Maxi Diesel Wagon - LA Craigslist - $700

83 Maxima diesel, grey, said to be a running, drivable car for $700. Only slight damage to the Left front qtr panel and hood from what can be seen in the pics. For someone close, that's a nice deal!

Someone should snap that one up. Fenders are easy. It's got Sedan alloys already, and it should have minimal rust.

I'm torn between the wagon and the sedans, but I have to say that I like the look of the sedan better. I also have a real nice 83 lined up in the East Bay for purchase later this summer...

Otherwise, I'd probably be planning a trip to Ontario (CA) soon.

Sedans have disc brakes all around and IRS over the Wagons, though '83 Wagons got rear coils instead of the leafs '81-2 have.

$700 for a straight '83 Wagon . . . I'm tempted to have my father go look at it for me.

AFAIK 909 is the Inland Empire. I also googled the ph # and it is originating from Ontario.

It is a good deal! Probably won't last with the gas prices in SoCal.

I can't possibly pick up another car right now, even were I willing to sell my '82 & '83. No, I haven't asked him. He's retired and lives about an hour west of Ontario . . . actually, more like 45 minutes. He'd get a kick out of taking a bunch of photos. But I haven't asked him.
