What we have is an 82 Datsun 6 cylinder diesel with 5spd transmisson.Engine seems to run good. But there is something wrong with the clutch or transmission.Clutch peddle is stuck and doen't move, but shifter feels like it's going in all the gears.Car could be restored it's not in that bad of shape.I think the electric windows still work and all the glass is good. They were pretty nice cars in their day.Mybe you can use it for a biodiesel project.Even has clean paperwork, and aluminum mag wheels. For parts or restore.Buying as is where is.Ask questions. Thanks for looking.
It's even got at least two center caps! But has "missing battery syndrome", with the glow plug fusible links showing in typical poor condition. Still, for anyone wanting a five-speed diesel Maxima, this looks like either a good candidate or a perfect parts donor.
Dang, for one thing Maryland sure is close to me (only live 3 miles north of the PA-MD border). Not sure I'd be able to get it, but it sure is attractive for the reason if I wanted to do my own custom Maxima turbo diesel I'd really like to do it on a factory 5-speed car. I have been thinking about this for the past month or two and I have decided if I ever do consider doing a turbo diesel Maxima project I want a sedan/5-speed as the project car. Not exactly sure where Greensboro is but I still can be considered local for a car on EbayMotors. Man and I don't have any money either!
Maryland is closer than Spokane. Looks fairly straight. Same color interior as my white car. Looks like it is east of D.C. I've done dumber things...
