4 glow plugs on greed-bay

Buy it, sell it, negotiate, haggle, drag it out from under the workbench or behind the garage and make it someone else's problem!

Auction 290020121747

buy it now US $79.99
these are new Beck/Arnley glow plugs they are hard to find diesel glow plugs for Nissan Datsun pickups with the SD22 1981-1982 and SD25 engines in 1986. I believe they also use that engine in some industrial applications and these fit them also. Don't burn up you high $$ starter because your glow plugs are bad shop and compair this is a bargin. email for application verification and questions. Please see my other auctions for more great deals and unknown treasures. Postage in the USA is only $8.25

Maybe.

NAPA lists that GP, Beck Arnley BA 1761034 for $26 ea., and the NGK 1232 for $23 ea.

Two points:
* The BA packaging shown in the auction looks to me to be "vintage" Beck/Arnley, so they're probably NORS rather than "brand-new".

* You won't pay shipping when buying the GPs from your local guys, but for that auction the effective cost (after $8.25 shipping in the US) is very close to retail over-the-counter, and if you have a problem with one your only recourse may be PayPal's Dispute Resolution.

And I'm always suspicious of Sellers that use the phrase, "Hurry, these won't last long", or in this case, " . . . they are hard to find . . . ". Yeah, it took me almost three minutes to find them at NAPA's site.

It'd have to be a better deal than that to tempt me away from my local supplier.

Al S.

To follow with Al, I would buy those locally rather than take my chances on the BA glowplug unless I could see them and know that they're all going to be NGK. I ordered some BA plugs for the VW and two of the three were one brand (Monark Diesel) and the other two were two other brands (Iska and ?), which didn't make me too happy. I would prefer not to mix-n-match on the glowplugs.
