SD25 WATERPUMP

Buy it, sell it, negotiate, haggle, drag it out from under the workbench or behind the garage and make it someone else's problem!

Does anyone know if the WP for the 720 SD25 is the same as the WP for the D21 SD25?

There was a 720 SD25 WP on eBay that didn't sell a couple of days ago. Redneck, if you think the WP is the same for '86 720 and '87 D21, you might contact that Seller. He states that he'll ship it worldwide, though he doesn't quote the rate for that.

Take a close look at the photos in the WATERPUMP thread. Odds are an SD25 is an SD25 irrespective of year.

The (junk) GMB brand pump I got for my SD22 -may- have been the SD25 supercede because 2 of the three housing bolts needed to be 10mm longer.

I have looked at all the pics and the 86 looks different.........i ended up giving in to nissan...and was suprized to find it was only 80 bucks! I have found that almost everything on the 87 is different and that none of the parts for this thing are interchangable. but she's my baby. every parts dist. where i am located will tell me that they didn't build the truck and i must have my facts wrong........but am geting used to it. thanks for the help though, i have had the old girl a while and am hopeing to pass on some of what i have learned about the 87 's !! , and at 394000km and the spedo being broken for 2 years, till i got my but under it to fix it, i have learned a fair bit ,. thanks

IF you could send me or post a GOOD closeup photo of your new (better yet the old one out), we'd all benefit.

I am trying to get a digital camera to get to get some pics......this truck is funny when i phone nissan to get parts they have to have the s/n to get it to come up in their system......the forklift motor is the one in mine 100% I'm sure of it I have seen other 25s and they are different,.....mine has a rotory fuel pump, electronic high idle, they quit making the motor mounts unique to this thing......now have mazda b2200 mounts in her.....the 87 truck had all the goods......very little of the bads ass. with the 720's. The biggest problem with this thing is the input bearing in the tranny likes to break and take out the case, the trans is not a side loader like the 720 it's a speciffic for the year top loader. the last one i found for the case's was 600$........and getting harder to find, except nissan at 3500$ for the hole tranny and 10 weeks away in japan....lol!
