It sure looks different than the OEM SD starter. Here's a couple pics of the OEM-style starter, with gear reduction:

The auction one is a direct-drive unit, like this (Beck-Arnley):

However, the auction starter (Hitachi) looks like this Bosch unit, which NAPA does list for the SD:

The pinion faces the flywheel the wrong way. The SD starter is mounted on the left side; the Z2x and L-series starters are on the right. This looks to me like it's not for an SD.
