eBay (NC): NOS 810/Maxima speedometer

Buy it, sell it, negotiate, haggle, drag it out from under the workbench or behind the garage and make it someone else's problem!

would this fix my CC? it has a bad vehicle speed sensor ( which I think is on the transmission, but I never use the CC so I never bothered to crawl under the car to find out)

The VSS is in the speedo. IIRC, it's the green and yellow wires you see in the eBay pic. If you have a bad one, I can send you a used speedo head for free. I may be able to roll the odo to your mileage if you tell me what it is.

High mileage is a badge of honor . . . or something.

There is a cruise control switch next to the brake switch under the dash, and I had these little rubber bumpers disintegrate the other day. If you check to see if the two rubber bumpers are there, then it is something else, maybe a vacuum hose? Any how it is the switch that tells the CC that you have the brake on to disengage the CC. It happened to me.

The speedo in the picture fits a gas car. I assume everone knows that already, but nobody referred to it that it is a gas speedo.

yes, it wouldnt be a diesel speedo, but im sure you can couple that to a diesel, if you like the lack of styling

Nope. With no tach, the diesel cluster is quite different. You'd have to do quite a bit of hacking to make it work. Making it look good is another story.
