Seriously, that's priced right. You're asking the same as I want for my '83 Wagon, that's rustier and needs more work (but it's a Wagon). I hope the new owner isn't going to immediately convert it to WVO, then after scrapping the injection system, sell the crank on eBay!

I can't totally disagree with that logic. OTOH, if they knew the other parts had value, it could benefit us here.

Great running 1983 datsun maxima diesel car. Body straight , very little surface rust, has 227,000 miles, not bad for a diesel motor.

Nissan Maxima's are known for it's built quality and reliablity. The Diesel Maxima were available in the early 80's and these rare LD28 engines are sought after by Nissan-Datsun enthusiasts.

Power sunroof, power doors, power door locks all work. A/C blow cold. Four-speed auto trans with OD. LD28 Diesel engines get about 28-33 mpg. Great candidate to run on biodiesel to save money over gasoline and reduce green house emission. Includes owner's manual, extra set of alloy wheels for the winter months.

This is my second diesel Maxima and I just have too many projects and too little time to keep it.

It's in excellent condition for the age. Only a few items needed attention: Mechanically, injector pump shaft seal needs replaced. Cosmetically, driver side front fender and front door has a dent. I will include the Viton seal that's Biodiesel compatible and extra driver side front fender and front door for you to bolt on and paint to match.

The title is in my possession and the tab has expired. I can provide a battery if you want to arrange a test drive. Buyer is responsible for full payment and shipping arrangement within three days at the end of auction.
