Hey all
I purchased these last weekend on a trip to the salvage yard. They are 6" wide, .4" less back spacing than OE which equates to roughly 7/8" more wheel outboard vs. OE. The tires are slightly larger, and I think it gives the car a more muscular look. Yes, they are gold colored but that may change in the future.
I have to refit the front studs first before I can install these wheels, the OE front studs are only 32mm. The rear studs are 41.5mm and adequate for the new wheels. After that's all done we can talk about it.
Nothing new, weather has been bad on weekends when I've been home to Des Moines. It may be a while yet before I can experiment with the new wheels. The Maxi at the JY didn't have her wheels left?
It had the 200SX wheels on it I suppose. They pull off all wheels, or they're taken off within minutes of arriving. I walked the whole import section Sat and no other suitable candidates.

Neither Maxi had wheels "on" it.
Same thing in many of the yards I frequent. Either they're removed almost immediately or they're later removed and used as jack stands for another car. There have been times when I've had to walk the yard looking for the companion to a wheel I want just because someone stole it to hold up another car...which is awful say when the wheel they snatched for a jackstand was a BBS alloy!
