This is our trusty boat,
Here's our engine at our feet,
With galley sink installed,
Can you appreciate "former owners"?
Check out the lack of clearance along the sides,
Bringing this CN4-33 back from the dead is a real challenge here in the jungle.More pix coming as I learn the photo procedure better, Thanks!,JD

YUK. I have another plate/housing/cooler saved at home. Long ago, Al mentioned a housing that leaked.

My friend, you are missed . . .

Well, the cooler actually cleaned up nicely,What got me was the bolt heads being so rusted and snapping off at the cooler, lots of friggenriggen to extract said studs. If youv'e never had the joy of working on a machine exposed to salt water for years, well, (BLUS)better left un said...So I'm trying to go back together with StainlessSteel fasteners and lots of AntiSieze. The last owner had pulled the engine/trans in order to fix the starter, yeah I know.anyhow when the engine was out, rather than fix anything, they just gobbed loads of white paint over the rust and every, tag, fitting, hose, etc. Right, enclosed rust! "looks good for the next buyer" We knew we had a fixxer upper! It's great,I don't have to go out to the garage,My engine is literally under my feet! Back to work,
Thanks,later,JD
