Can anyone tell me how the oil flows thru the vacuum pump on the back of my altinator? I also have a diesel kiki fuel pump and was wondering how it shuts down when key is turned off. Thanks

Into the back of the pump via an orifice-restricted hose from the block's oil gallery, and out the bottom of the pump, with air, and back to the sump via a hose.

Assuming your IP is a Bosch VE-style IP: Via a solenoid at the rear of the IP. Power ON = fuel flows into plunger area. Power = no fuel flow.
