Don't know if it's 1980 or 1985, he's got both years listed.
85 Jeep J-10A military tug. Very rare body style. Has Nissan Diesel that runs like a top. Trans needs to be rebuild and is out of the jeep now. It has a Dodge 727 Automatic. Can crank motor to hear run. Has power disc brakes and power steering. Jeep will have to be rewired. Has straight tube front axle with no differential in it but does have mated transfercase and Dana 70 rear axle. Jeep does not have any rusted out places and very minor flaws in body. Overall body is in great condition. Tires are nothing special and one is flat.
Scouts in 1980 got the turbo. Military stuff is different spec.
It's too bad they spray painted over what was probably old advertising for the company that had it, the rest of the paint isn't too bad although it's plenty oxidized and would require color sanding before buffing maybe.
I guess we would call this the SWB (short wheel base) model?
