Un Bluebird de Nissan a vendre en France

Buy it, sell it, negotiate, haggle, drag it out from under the workbench or behind the garage and make it someone else's problem!

Un Bluebird de Nissan a vendre en France

#1

Post by glenlloyd »

Here's an 84 Nissan Bluebird (910) for sale in France, it's been up several times and no one bites!

Al, These are the headlights I would like to have for my wagon.

Also notice the differences in the bumper protrusion, grill, filler panel, and even the side markers are different. The markers aren't "squarish" like the US type, they angle back from top to bottom.

Yes, I've seen those, but your second photograph is not a 910, I believe it's a U11 Bluebird (aka Stanza) with FWD.

I'd like to find the headlights for a 910! There's a pair of new Nissan 910 Bluebird headlamps on Ebay Australia but alas they are RHD.

This is a Stanza?

It sure looks as though it has the same rear door and rear window proportions as our Maxima.

This is the Bluebird "Stanza", still the same platform as the Maxima, but it's the next gen platform, FWD, model U11. Model might not be U11, but I believe it's some alpha + 11. The U12 Stanza didn't come until after 90.

The car you're talking about I can't see. The only thing I get is a tripod website logo. That first photograph is sure a sweet ride, looks very clean!

Computers

It displayed perfectly at work, not here at home. I've d/l'd the image and now host it from here, and fixed the links above; scroll up and see.

When you'd said, "the second picture . . . ", I thought you meant the white wagon.

Well, now that I see it (2nd picture) I know that it's not a 910, it's a U11 Maxima FWD, but it is sharp!

When Nissan went to the FWD Maxima series they kept most of the styling cues from the previous version, but masaged them a bit when they did the new body. The U11 Maxima is pretty close to the previous 910, but the front received a needed revision and it got flush headlights and integrated bumpers (at least in the US). Too bad those headlights won't fit on the 910!

the car on ebay is EFI petrol.
it could be a Z20E ar a L20B.

these 910 headlights are not a problem but the early type you be better off with a torch.
i was looking for a photo but this is all that i have at this time.

this is a ser 3 1985/86 australian built.the headlight is australian hella.
it has a plastic cover over the light and corner.
has 4 hi beams H4 H1.my first car had a problem from new.the right headlight had a LHD pattern.the car was destroyed so i never fixed it.
I have had the same problem since with other cars, the bulb holder H4 has 3 lugs, this plate often is loose and the bulb moves around.in some of the original lights several slots are in the reflector so the bulb car be put in the wrong angle.

I'd like to get those same wheels the white wagon has in the second picture for my car. They look really nice, plus the car is sharp too. 8) I wonder what size wheels they are?

Ouch. And such a pretty color, too.

I like the body-color bumpers.

Ouch...they must have been moving along at a pretty good clip. That's too bad. You're right Al, it is a good color. We never got any nice colors like that.

about 70 mph when the car hit the curb on the bridge.then it was hold on.
I was asleep in the back.i stuck my head up for a look when i went through the back window.had lap/sash belt in the rear..the german driver, hugged the gutter,as this car is RHD.

these are stock 14X6 alloys.there is a 15X6.

bars ar plastic covered steel.and colour coded.if you look hard you see that the door handle on the right are colour coded and the left is black.the black side had a insert glued to the handle.these are both the wrong handles for the model and i didnt notice the difference until it was too late for warranty replacment.

this is one of the conservative colours-unclaimed order is how i got it-

Is the trashed wagon in the pics the same as "green bird" in the 910bluebird website?

I see what you mean about those later headlights. I'm not particularly fond of the slope they gave to the front end of the car although I kind of like the integrated color keyed bumpers.

Now if I could just find a set of those series 1 headlights that would work in the US!

ser 3
http://gallery.910bluebird.com/Paul/PICT0009_001
you can clearly see the inside high beam driving light, the turning indicator light is in the japanese fog light spot in the bumper and in the rear side of the parking light[hard to see].the grill attaches to the headlight.the early steel bumber is painted,it can only be seen under the black strip near the number plate.the black strip and the top are a filler cover.

ser 2
http://gallery.910bluebird.com/Mark/trx_front
amber corner lights, are attached to a plastic frame to change the front of the car but still use the original headlights.

green bird? is this the V8 race car.
this is a ser2 with a ser3 grill tied on.it is a LX[middle] trim level GXE is the hi trim.GXE ultra has more crap.
this colour is very common with basic cars.around this time.

ser1
http://gallery.910bluebird.com/The-Ser1/IMAG0069
the bumper center is normall chrome with overriders.

http://gallery.910bluebird.com/Sky910-sr20de/33_G

Note the side mirrors,on the earlry cars they have the mirror on the door skin with full door glass, this first ser1 has later glass with filler trim, the last one has the local made mirror.in japan this was from 1983 on.
the first ser1 is the same as the blue LHD blurbird at the top of the page, but the bumper is australian type but more basic.

Thanks for the clarification, clearly this model was more complicated outside the US.

I have to say that I like the series 1 the best, especially the look of this front end. It's clean and the squarish look fits the model better than the later ones that look kind of flimsy and tacked on.

Image

As you know we didn't get the angular side marker lamps in the US. I'm sure it had something to do with the size and some DOT restriction. I like the non-US version better with the forward angled marker/turn sig.
