WTB: cheap CD17 longblock

Buy it, sell it, negotiate, haggle, drag it out from under the workbench or behind the garage and make it someone else's problem!

WTB: cheap CD17 longblock

Post by asavage »

I am looking for a (cheap) CD17 longblock or entire engine. Mine is experiencing a lot of blowby. The rest of the car doesn't warrant a lot of investment, but if you have a CD17 that is known to be in relatively good internal condition, I'm interested. PNW only.

$500 AS IS.
Ferry service for a vehicle on the Black Ball line from Port Angeles is $50 each way, so add $100. And 285mi. of driving, round-trip. It would take a full day to do this.

I think I'd want at least a compression test before buying.
