Interesting photography. Seller's shipping charge seems a little higher than I'd expect.
For more info on LD28 valve adjust tools, see this thread.
I already have three, so I'm not bidding on this pair.

Up for auction is a Hazet specialty tool for Mercedes. The Hazet number is 2768-1. This is stamped with the Mercedes logo and number: 110 589 00 01 00. There are no personal markings or engravings on this tool. All of the edges are true, sharp and square – not beat up at all, in fact, it looks barely used.

Looking at the '83 FSM page MA-15, it appears that perhaps there wouldn't be enough space in the HAZET 2768-1 tool to clear the rocker pivot and rocker arm.
Possibly. The special wrench isn't strictly necessary; Steve or Matt said that a std. crowsfoot adapter will work. ISTR that the L20 doesn't need a special wrench and your L24 is just a L20 that's put on bulk.
the fsm says its gonna need the tool in the special service tools section on EM-46, but dosent seem to show the valve adjustment procedure in engine mechanical, ill scan around in the maintainence section, but im way past my bedtime. I could just bend myself up a set of wrenches if I ever do my valve adjustment. Hey, mabye ill do it next month when I say im replacing my timing chain, great time to do it, save some money on VC gaskets.
Im sure a crows foot of the proper size would work, there really dosent seem like there is much in the way of the adjustment nuts anyways.
