Well, unfortunately someone came in and bid on the manual with less than 5 minutes on the auction and won it. It's my fault, as I wasn't checking Ebay carefully like I should have. Oh well, the search goes on. I'll get one eventually.

Sorry I missed your auction. I am working off of Crown and Chilton manuals but would also like to have an 82 fsm. I will have to keep closer tabs on ebay.

Terry, it wasn't my auction, that link I provided is a generic eBay search query that I've canned for our use. At the time I posted that, there were a couple of cheap ones available. I run that query about once a week, to see what's available (though I do not need any more Maxima manuals!). You can use it to do the same, or construct your own eBay search if you're familiar with the syntax.

If you're patient, you can buy an '82 or '83 FSM for under $20, sometimes for under $10. Don't buy the '84 FSM, as it contains NO diesel info, and if you buy the '81, be sure it comes with the separate diesel supplement, because in '81 the main FSM contains NO diesel info.
