Hard to find, 1983 complete LD28 DIESEL engine and 3 speed auto transmission out of a Nissan Maxima. Mileage was 110k and it ran perfectly when pulled. Ran beautifully with no smoking and it drove awesome. It only had 110K miles and was serviced every 3-4K. Engine coolant was like new. Very well kept and it was owned by an old lady. The body rotted off the car and the engine was like new.

This engine is complete with starter, alternator, transmission included. Has A/C compressor but its locked up.

This is a NON turbo engine.

Mileage was 110k and it ran perfectly when pulled. Ran beautifully with no smoking or knocking and it drove awesome. It only had 110K miles and was serviced every 3-4K from the records I saw in the car . Engine coolant was like new and the condition was perfect. Very well kept and it was owned by an old lady. The body rotted off the car from sitting under a tree.

This engine is complete with starter, alternator, transmission included. Has A/C compressor but its locked up. I kept everything that I could so this engine could be swapped into something else. i have the driveshaft yoke, motor mounts, wiring harness, exhaust downpipe, etc.

Parts are available at all auto part stores. This was a vehicle sold in the US and not a imported specialty from Japan.

I have read on the internet that some guys have put these engines in 280ZX cars and get like 35 mpg ! This is a perfect engine for a sawp. I have looked at the fittment and it should fit the Jeep CHEROKEE ( not the grand cherokee ) from like mid 1980's to 2001, Dodge dakota and probably some others.
