My family had a house in Topanga in the 60's, and huge A-frame that's at the corner of Colina and what is now Greenbluff according to Google Maps, but which was basically a paved 100 yd alley leading nowhere to one side of our house. I have fond memories of the three years we were there, the long walk to Entrada Dr. to catch the school bus -- I've been back, it really was a long walk, and I was only five! But at that age summers last forever, and the smell of the honeysuckle still lingers in my mind. The neighbor across the street had a tractor and he'd let us sit up in the bucket raised up in the air while he dragged a drag around his field -- it's a wonder I'm still alive!
